Norby is top vote-getter
Chris Norby was the top vote-getter in yesterday’s special election for the 72nd Assembly District, garnering 37.2%of the vote. Democrat John MacMurray came in second with 27.1%, followed by Republican Linda Ackerman with 19.7%, Republican Richard Faher with 13.2% and Green Party candidate Jane Rands with 2.8%.
Norby will face the Democrat and Green candidates in a run-off election on January 12.
